About Us

Regional leaders in the forestry sector.

Historical background

Florecha, Produtores Agor-Florestais da Charneca, Lda, was created in 1997 from ACHAR – Associação de Agricultores de Charneca (ACHAR), an association of landowners, with the initial aim of supporting its associates in the implementation of their forestry projects.

The company, as a forestry contractor, provides a range of services that includes all the forest supply-chain operations: planting, restocking, maintenance, pruning, thinning, final harvest and wood transportation. Simultaneously, the use of forest waste has been growing steadily in past years and has gained increased importance for the company’s bottom-line.

Florecha, SA. has a close and direct contact with the region’s landowners, frequently overcoming the forest operations sector and including amongst its work consultancy and technical support, particularly in setting up funding proposals, forest management plans and project monitoring.

While initially in the form of a limited liability company, it changed to a public limited company and its designation to Florecha, Forest Solutions, SA. in 2008.

Its main office is located in Chamusca and its warehouse/workshop at the Industrial Eco-Park of Relvão.
